Job summary

Gilchrist Construction Company is seeking a Field Manager/Foreman to lead a crew on daily site work and execute project plans on multiple sites. The role emphasizes strong leadership, adherence to plans, and effective communication of assignments to crew members.

The Field Manager will work with the Superintendent to implement work plans, monitor safety and quality, and travel as needed to ensure projects meet targets and budgets. A HS diploma and construction experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years construction experience required.
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports; speak effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew to implement daily work plans and safety goals.
• Coordinate with Superintendent and Project Team on weekly/daily plans.
• Ensure quantities, materials, and equipment support crew activities and costs.
• Promote safety, quality, and efficiency and drive project goals.
• Travel to project sites as needed and manage site reporting.
