Job summary

Gilchrist Construction Co. is seeking a Field Manager WS 1 to lead a crew through on-site installation activities. You will ensure adherence to plans, communicate daily work assignments, and coordinate with project teams to drive safe, high-quality progress.

Responsibilities include developing weekly and daily task plans, tracking quantities, promoting company safety goals, and mentoring crew members to build capable teams across projects, while maintaining profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years construction experience with leadership
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of construction methods and OSHA safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct crews through construction installation activities
• Review and communicate work assignments, plans and specs to crew/team
• Develop weekly and daily task plans with the team
• Meet safety, quality and profit goals for project activities
• Track quantities and report daily activity to PPC
• Travel to projects as needed
• Mentor project personnel and promote company values
