Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Field Maintenance Worker for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Ventura, CA. Key Responsibilities

• Perform outdoor maintenance, repair, and general field support work at multiple local job sites.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with installation, repair, clearing, digging, shoveling, and work area maintenance.
• Support equipment, facility, and infrastructure maintenance projects as assigned.
• Inspect work areas and perform basic repairs or maintenance tasks as needed.
• Drive between job sites throughout the Ventura area as required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $24.00 per hour.
• Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
• Location: Ventura, CA, with multiple work sites throughout the area.
• Standard Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM.
• Flex Schedule Option: 9/80 schedule, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM, with every other Friday off.

For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Perform field maintenance, repair, and site support work outdoors.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools for repair and installation projects.
• Support infrastructure, equipment, and work area maintenance across multiple sites.
• Travel between assigned job sites as needed.
• 1-2 years of experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, utility, general labor, or a related hands-on field.
• Comfortable working outdoors throughout the day in varying field conditions.
• Experience safely using hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Dependable, safety-focused, team-oriented, and able to follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on public works, utility, infrastructure, or long-term field maintenance projects.
