CEC Smart Positioning, LLC is hiring a Machine Control Field Installer and Support Specialist in Cincinnati, OH. You will perform field and shop installations of Topcon 2D/3D machine control components on heavy equipment, calibrate systems, and provide on-site training to operators and supervisors.

The role requires 1–3+ years of machine control experience, strong electronics knowledge, and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
• 1–3+ years with 2D/3D machine control systems (Topcon/Trimble preferred).
• Strong grounding in electronics theory, circuits, and diagnostics.
• Proficiency with electronics test equipment and measurement tools.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and comfort around heavy machinery.
• Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint; valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Install machine control components on heavy equipment per specs.
• Calibrate and tune machine control systems for accurate operation.
• Diagnose hardware, electrical, GNSS and hydraulic issues on site.
• Provide on-site training to operators and site managers.
• Maintain and update parts inventory and service logs.
• Perform repairs with minimal supervision and ensure safety standards.
• Document service reports and installation sign-offs accurately.
