Job summary

H & S Loss Control Inspections is seeking qualified field inspectors to handle independent contractor inspections for commercial properties. Inspectors review assignments, schedule visits, and assess utilities, life safety, and building systems. You will document findings with photos and a Rapid Sketch-based report submitted online.

The role requires experience in commercial insurance loss control inspections, ability to work independently, and comfort with online reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance loss control inspections.
• Knowledge of commercial property and casualty lines.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable submitting reports online.

Responsibilities

• Receives and reviews assignments electronically.
• Schedules inspection appointments with insured by phone/email/text.
• Inspects properties for hazards related to utilities, building systems, and safety; takes 20–35 photos.
• Interviews insured for operations details and age of building systems.
• Communicates inspection status through online application.
• Completes inspection reports in the Loss Control 360 system with Rapid Sketch and returns electronically.
