Job summary

H & S Loss Control Inspections seeks qualified field inspectors to perform commercial loss control inspections on an independent contractor basis in the USA. Inspections involve evaluating utilities, building systems, and life safety, with photo capture and online reporting.

Training in loss-control procedures preferred. Applicants should have 3-5 years of relevant inspection experience or completed a recognized course such as VIITA Basic Commercial Line Inspector.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience providing commercial insurance loss control inspections.
• Understanding of property, general liability, and workers' compensation lines.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and communicate well in writing.

Responsibilities

• Receives assignments electronically and reviews requirements.
• Schedules inspections with Insured by phone, email, or text.
• Inspects the property for hazards and systems; takes 20-35 exterior/interior photos; uses measuring tools.
