Job summary

Mansfield Service Partners is seeking a Fleet Operations Manager in Houston, TX. You will oversee a 200+ vehicle fleet, drive cost efficiencies, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and lead procurement, maintenance, and vendor partnerships to support fuel, lubricant, and environmental service operations.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, strategic planning, and collaboration with leadership to achieve safety and profitability goals, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years in fleet operations and supply chain in trucking.
• Five+ years of leadership/management experience.
• Five+ years of fleet management experience.
• Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA safety compliance.
• Strong technical ability in operations and logistics management.
• Strong mechanical ability with understanding of our fleet.
• Bachelor or Master’s in business, operations, or supply chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide servant leadership with a safety-first culture.
• Oversee preventive/repair maintenance procurement and parts across locations; track costs.
• Develop regional fleet strategy to meet financial goals and KPIs.
• Participate in budget process; analyze regional fleet spending within budget.
• Develop strategies to maximize productivity and safety; optimize fleet performance.
• Interact with Mansfield Energy departments to maximize profitability and customer retention.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and government safety standards.
• Develop contingency plans for weather events and supply shortages.
• Negotiate and close major contracts with vendors in the supply chain.
• Support safety, profitability, productivity, and revenue targets through operations.
