Job summary

ASML in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer to install, relocate, upgrade, and optimize advanced lithography equipment at customer sites. You will work with customers, engineers, and technical experts to ensure safe, high-quality installations and on-time project handovers.

You will diagnose issues, document actions, and support continuous improvement while traveling up to 80% to customer sites across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics or two years of practical experience.
• Associate degree or military training with relevant experience.
• Minimum one year in field service or related technical environment.
• Minimum one year assembling, installing, troubleshooting and repairing complex electromechanical equipment.
• Minimum one year reading technical documentation, engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, vacuum systems, pneumatics or hydraulics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, upgrade, and optimize lithography systems and subsystems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system‑level issues to ensure performance.
• Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to solve challenges.
• Analyze system performance and verify safety, quality, and compliance.
• Complete technical documentation, service reports, and handovers accurately.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor less experienced teammates.
