Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a remote Claim Representative, General Liability, to manage injury and property damage claims in a Pittsburgh-area territory. You will investigate coverage, evaluate liability, reserve appropriately, and communicate with claimants, attorneys, and customers while maintaining high professionalism.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, claim experience, and active adjuster licensing where required, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and claims

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with strong ethics and critical thinking.
• At least 1 year of bodily injury or liability claim experience preferred.
• Active adjuster license as required by state law.
• Experience with claims management systems and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze policy language and determine coverage.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of injury and property damage claims from notice of loss to resolution.
• Investigate information by contacting relevant parties to determine coverage and liability.
• Communicate professionally with customers, counsel, vendors, and internal teams.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and issue timely payments.
• Maintain accurate claim records and adapt to new technology and AI tools.
• Earn and maintain required state insurance licenses within three months.
