Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Technician to act as the regional tactical leader, directing tasks, coordinating projects, and supporting technicians on site. The role emphasizes safety, training, and extensive billable work orders.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical experience across electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, plus certifications and a valid driver’s license. Relationship with field operations and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

HS diploma or degree/certification in related trades.
Five or more years mechanical experience including electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
Must possess applicable certifications and valid driver’s license.
Ability to read and interpret safety/operating instructions and procedures.
Experience with building mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).

Responsibilities

Train new employees on EMCOR practices and procedures.
Serves as tactical leader in the field; coaching technicians.
Observe workmanship and complete admin tasks (Mobil Link, Dsi, paperwork).
Assist technicians with complex/ skilled work orders as geographically appropriate.
Serve as facilities maintenance subject matter expert.
Follow through on duties assigned by Regional Manager.
