Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Technician to serve as the regional field leader, directing priorities, assigning tasks, and supporting technicians on site. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and a heavy focus on billable work orders.

You will supervise technicians across mechanical systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, and ensure work orders are completed timely with proper documentation. Daily travel is required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years mechanical experience in building trades including electrical, plumbing, or carpentry.
• HS diploma or higher with relevant trades certification.
• Ability to read safety rules and write routine reports; communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical leadership in the field and coordinate projects.
• Ensure technicians perform work safely with proper documentation (mobil link, Dsi, paperwork).
• Complete work orders promptly and communicate status via tablet/business systems.
• Daily local travel between properties and on-site supervision of maintenance tasks.
