Job summary

Deer Guys, a SavATree company, is seeking a Lead Technician & Field Supervisor in Norwalk, CT. This independent, field-based role involves taking ownership of service delivery, client relations, and business development to drive growth.

You will manage on-site deer control activities, mentor future technicians, and work with leadership to identify expansion opportunities while maintaining high standards of wildlife safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Background in wildlife management, pest control, landscaping, or environmental services preferred.
• Self-starting mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of deer behavior, repellent products, and application techniques is a plus.
• Growth mindset with willingness to take on additional responsibilities as the business expands.
• Strong communication skills to engage with clients professionally.
• Ability to work effectively in outdoor, field-based environments.
• Familiarity with environmental laws and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on fieldwork and service execution.
• Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate deer activity and identify treatment areas.
• Apply deer repellent treatments using environmentally responsible methods.
• Ensure work meets industry standards and complies with environmental regulations.
• Manage daily routes to maximize effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Independently manage a portfolio of clients and drive engagement.
• Support leadership in identifying growth opportunities and expanding services.
• Develop relationships with clients and local stakeholders to promote brand awareness and market expansion.
• Contribute to hiring and training processes as the business grows.
• Mentor future team members on service delivery and route management.
