Enbridge Inc. is seeking a Lead Solar Technician for a site-based role in Stockdale, TX.

You will oversee day-to-day field operations, lead maintenance and troubleshooting of solar and Balance of Plant equipment, and mentor technicians and contractors to uphold safety and efficiency. The role requires a college degree in an electrical field and 5+ years in solar/electrical assets, with strong ability to read drawings and use SCADA.

Qualifications

• College degree in electrical field with 5+ years of solar/electrical asset experience.
• Experience maintaining AC/DC photovoltaic equipment and Balance of Plant assets.
• Strong ability to read electrical drawings, schematics and OEM manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day field leadership for safe, reliable solar facility operations.
• Lead maintenance, inspections, testing, electrical switching, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Coordinate and guide technicians and contractors, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Use SCADA, schematics, and OEM manuals to diagnose complex issues.
• Lead job planning, pre-job briefings, risk assessments, and energy-control activities.
