Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. seeks a Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD to support field crews and designers in laying out contracts and establishing precise field points for duct, pipe, and elevations.

The role requires 2–3 years surveying experience, CAD proficiency, Trimble familiarity, and a valid driver's license, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and teamwork on site in varied environments.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in surveying and/or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
• Two years CAD experience.
• Must have strong computer skills and have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Current valid driver's license
• Must possess good work ethic and be accountable for deadlines
• Must be a self-starter
• Ability to work and communicate with others

Responsibilities

• Assist field crews and in-house designers and detailers by collecting or creating points from contract documents to establish field layout for various purposes.
• Support horizontal layout of duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves, wall layout, hangers, etc.
• Maintain equipment and stay current with calibration and safety protocols.
