Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD to support field crews and in-house designers. You will collect and create points from contract documents to establish field layout for duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves, wall layout, hangers, etc., working in various field environments.

The role requires CAD and Trimble proficiency, strong 3D visualization, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams while maintaining equipment and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

2-3 years experience in surveying or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
Two years CAD experience
Strong computer skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Current valid driver’s license
Must have good work ethic and be accountable for deadlines
Must be a self-starter and able to communicate with others

Responsibilities

Work in the field environment
Assist field crews and design team with layout
Ability to use CAD software
Use Trimble software and hardware
3D spatial visualization required
Maintain equipment daily and ensure calibration
Other duties as assigned
