Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. seeks a Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD to support field crews and in-house designers. You will collect or create points from contract documents to establish field layouts for ducts, pipes, elevations, sleeves, wall layouts, and hangers.

Requires 2–3 years surveying experience and CAD proficiency; travel and field work are expected, with strong problem solving and self-motivation. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in surveying or equivalent vocational training.
• Two years CAD experience.
• Strong computer skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Working in the field environment.
• Assisting field crews and other customers with layout.
• Ability to use CAD software.
• Ability to use Trimble software and hardware.
• 3D spatial visualization/thinking skills.
• Maintaining equipment daily and calibrating annually.
• Other duties as assigned.
