Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD to support field layout for duct, pipe, conduits, elevations and related components.

You will work with field crews and in-house designers to translate contract documents into precise field layouts using CAD and Trimble tools. The role requires 2–3 years surveying or equivalent experience, CAD proficiency, and the ability to interpret 3D spatial relationships.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in surveying and/or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
• Two years CAD experience.
• Must have strong computer skills and have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Working in the field environment.
• Assisting field crews as well as other customers with layout.
• Ability to use CAD software.
• Ability to use Trimble software and hardware.
• 3D spatial visualization/thinking skills a must.
• Must possess strong problem solving skills.
• Maintaining equipment on a daily basis and staying current with the annual calibration.
