Job summary

Atlantic Constructors seeks a Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD to support field crews and in-house designers. You will collect or create points from contract documents to establish field layout for duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves and hangers, among other tasks.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years surveying experience or equivalent training.
• 2 years CAD experience.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong work ethic and deadlines oriented.
• Able to work in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist field crews and designers with layout from contract documents.
• Create field layouts for duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves, hangers.
• Maintain equipment and stay current with calibration.
• Operate CAD and Trimble tools for design and field tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers.
