Atlantic Constructors is seeking dynamic, motivated individuals to join our expanding team in Roanoke. The Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD will assist field crews and our in‑house designers by collecting points from contract documents to establish field layout for ducts, pipes, elevations, sleeves, and hangers.

You will use CAD and Trimble software and hardware in a field environment, maintain equipment, and support layout operations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in surveying or equivalent
• Two years CAD experience
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Current valid driver's license
• Good work ethic and deadlines
• Self-starter and able to communicate with others
• Acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist field crews and designers by collecting layout data from contract documents
• Create field layouts for ducts, pipes, elevations, sleeves and hangers
• Operate CAD and Trimble software and hardware
• Maintain equipment and annual calibration
• Perform other duties as assigned
