Job summary

Tilcon Connecticut Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support quarries, asphalt plants, and paving projects. You will perform inspections, sampling, testing, and documentation to ensure materials meet contract specifications.

The role involves field and laboratory work, irregular hours, overtime, and travel to project locations, with focus on safety, quality, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of quality control, construction, or related experience preferred.
• Relevant certifications preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections, sampling, and testing in field and lab environments.
• Collect, measure, and test aggregates, hot mix asphalt, soils, and core samples.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of test results.
• Follow QC procedures and communicate results to plant and field teams.
• Comply with safety policies and wear PPE.
