Job summary

Tilcon Connecticut, Inc. is seeking a Concrete Quality Control Intern to support the Quality Control team in ensuring ready mix concrete products meet company standards and customer specifications.

You will gain hands‑on exposure to concrete testing, materials evaluation, plant operations, and construction projects in both laboratory and field environments. You will work closely with Quality Control Technicians, plant personnel, and leaders to develop knowledge of QA processes within the

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn how to operate within Tilcon's safety culture and value safety.
• Assist with sampling and testing of fresh and hardened concrete per ASTM/ACI.
• Support field and laboratory testing of concrete and aggregates.
• Record, organize, and maintain test results and quality documentation.
• Assist with monitoring plant production to ensure compliance with mix designs.
• Observe and participate in troubleshooting quality‑related issues and identify corrective actions.
• Support aggregate sampling and testing activities as required.
• Assist with maintaining laboratory equipment and testing supplies.
