Job summary

Tilcon Connecticut Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Concrete Quality Control Intern to support our Quality Control team. You will gain hands-on experience in concrete testing, materials evaluation, plant operations, and QA processes across laboratory and field environments.

Under supervision, you will assist with sampling and testing, record test results, learn OSHA and DOT requirements, and participate in jobsite visits.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Materials Science, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student preferred.
• Ability to learn safety and QA procedures in field and lab settings.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate safely within Tilcon’s culture and core safety values.
• Assist with sampling and testing of concrete and aggregates per standards.
• Record test results and maintain quality documentation.
• Support field and laboratory testing and plant operations.
