S&ME is seeking Construction Materials Engineering Technicians in Evansville, IN, offering hands-on training across field and lab testing of concrete, asphalt, soils, and aggregates. You'll collect samples, interpret test results, and prepare reports while collaborating with engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred for advanced levels.
• Technician levels range from I to IV with increasing experience and leadership as applicable.
• Certifications such as ACI Field Testing Grade I and ICC Special Inspector are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing on construction materials (concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates).
• Collect and prepare samples for analysis.
• Interpret test results and prepare detailed reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and project managers to ensure safety and spec compliance.
