Job summary

Terracon seeks an Engineering Technician to perform field and laboratory testing, inspection, and observation of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will report findings to the Project Manager and ensure proper sample handling, documentation, and safety compliance on-site.

You’ll transport samples, maintain equipment, and assist with scheduling of technicians.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform field and laboratory testing, observations, and inspections per project requirements.
• Strong documentation skills for clear, accurate reporting of findings and results.
• Must identify, handle, transport, and document samples with traceability and safety in mind.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned field and/or laboratory testing and inspections as required.
• Provide timely documentation of findings and communicate with Project Manager.
• Properly identify and transport samples to support testing and traceability.
• Operate, maintain, and clean testing equipment and work areas.
