Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. seeks a field technician to perform testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials on active sites.

You will communicate results to the Project Manager, prepare written and digital reports, and transport samples to the lab, while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Communicate with project manager, client representative, and others regarding requirements and results.
• Transport material samples to the laboratory for testing and analysis.
• Prepare data and observations in reports for daily transmittal to the Terracon Project Manager.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles and work areas.
• Follow safety rules and practices on all projects.
