Job summary

Precision Door Service is hiring a Learning & Development Field Trainer in Woodinville. The role focuses on building and executing training programs to reduce ramp time and boost field productivity, covering technicians, installers and sales staff.

The ideal candidate will design blended learning, leverage LMS and video tools, and travel up to 50% on the West Coast to deploy onboarding and ongoing development initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development and/or Training within field service or skilled trades.
• Proven success designing and implementing training programs that improved performance or reduced time to competency.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and blended learning methods.
• Comfort with training technology (LMS platforms, video tools, mobile learning apps).
• Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable program improvements.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to travel across West Coast up to 50% of the time

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy for field technicians, installers and salespeople.
• Deliver a full-scale training program focused on onboarding and ramp time reduction.
• Collaborate with operations, HR and field leaders to tailor programs to the workforce.
• Create manuals, e-learning, hands-on workshops, videos and assessments.
• Evaluate learning delivery modalities and measure effectiveness and productivity outcomes.
• Facilitate instructor-led trainings and train-the-trainer sessions.
• Coordinate consistent onboarding experiences across locations and monitor progress.
