Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled technicians to support a growing national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, involving OS installations, structured cabling, and telecom work across diverse environments.

Ideal candidates have 1 year IT/Telecom experience and certifications (A+ or Network+ or 5+ years field experience). Tools like crimpers and cable testers are required. Travel within an ~80-mile radius from home is expected.

Qualifications

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling including drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is a strong plus.
• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience; one of: A+ or Network+ or 5+ years field experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling tasks including drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work including punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on call for service requests within territory.
