Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support our national client base. Role involves OS installations, hardware diagnostics, software setup, structured cabling, and telecom work across diverse environments.

The ideal candidate thrives onsite, enjoys variety, and can be on-call 24/7. A1-2 year IT/Telecom experience or certified credentials (A+/Network+) are preferred. Vehicle and basic tools required; travel within territory offered.

Qualifications

• Reliable personal vehicle required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must have a standard set of IT and networking tools.
• Laptop with Ethernet port.
• Smartphone with mobile hotspot.
• Ability to accept job assignments based on your availability; on-call 24/7 is strong.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory.
