Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking an experienced IT support technician to provide advanced technical support and customer service as part of the Technical Services Team. The role involves diagnosing issues, escalating complex problems, and maintaining hardware, software, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four (4) years IT experience or CompTIA A+ or Associates or Technical degree in IT required.
• CompTIA A+ or comparable certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and customer service as part of the Technical Services Team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve urgent technical issues and respond to help requests in person or by phone.
• Identify and escalate complex issues to responsible teams and management.
• Compile daily or weekly issues log for management.
• Install and repair computer hardware and software, clean computers, and run diagnostic programs.
• Write user manuals and train staff as needed.
• Monitor and maintain the organization's computer system's daily performance.
• Maintain the Knowledge Base in the Service Management ticket system.
• Mentor and train Associate Technician.
