Job summary

The ProActive Technology Group is seeking a Field Technician in Midtown Manhattan to provide hands-on IT support at client sites across Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, with some travel to Greenvale, NY. Expect about 50% field work and strong customer interaction.

You’ll support workstations, printers, Microsoft 365, basic servers, and network issues, documenting findings in IT Glue and using Halo PSA and NinjaRMM for tickets and remote access. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

2+ years in a managed services or IT support role.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite and remote Level 1/2 support for client environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with workstations and laptops.
Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and user account issues.
Resolve printers and peripheral device issues.
Address basic server and line-of-business application issues.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, wireless access, and firewall-related concerns.
