Job summary

ProActive Technology Group is seeking a technically strong, client-focused IT Team Lead to join our Greenvale, NY office. You will manage a team of 4–6 help desk technicians and act as the primary technical contact for clients, supporting a range of environments across Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island.

Approximately 30% of your time will be at client sites. The role combines advanced troubleshooting with leadership and VIP-level client service.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in managed services or IT support roles.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical staff.
• Strong customer service and communication with executives.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, and network basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a 4–6 person team of help desk technicians.
• Manage ticket queues, SLAs, and quality standards.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues.
• Coordinate on-site client visits and deployments.
