Job summary

The Proactive Technology Group is seeking a Field Technician based in Midtown Manhattan to provide onsite and remote Level 1/2 IT support across Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, with occasional travel to Greenvale, NY. You will spend about 50% in the field, handling diverse client environments and workstreams.

You will troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows, printers, and network issues while documenting findings in IT Glue and tracking work in Halo PSA.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a managed services, field support, or IT support role.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
Familiarity with firewall and network concepts.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite and remote Level 1/2 support for client environments.
Travel to client sites to perform technical support, remediation, deployment, and installation work.
Assist with workstation setups, user onboarding/offboarding, hardware replacements, and office IT moves.
Document work performed, technical findings, and client environment details in IT Glue.
Use Halo PSA for ticket management, time entry, and work tracking.
