Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certificate preferred.
• Able to communicate with diverse populations; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking, hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide entry level IT support for library staff at multiple sites.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
• Provide basic networking support.
• Interact with vendors to support and maintain the IT environment.
• Log requests in tracking systems; monitor progress and resolutions.
• Communicate effectively with manager, staff, and end users regarding issues.
