Job summary
Confidential Recruiting Partners seeks a Tier 2 IT Support Specialist to deliver hands-on desktop, application, and field support for business users across multiple locations. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, while delivering excellent customer service in a hybrid on-site role with regional travel.
The position requires 3+ years of field IT or desktop support, experience with Active Directory, Windows, and Microsoft 365, and the ability to explain technical concepts
Qualifications
- 3+ years of field IT or desktop support.
- Familiarity with Active Directory administration.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience with imaging and deployment processes.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration tools.
- Experience working with ticketing systems and structured support environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows OS, hardware, printers, mobile devices, and basic networking.
Responsibilities
- Provide desk-side and remote support to business users.
- Serve as primary point of contact for end-user IT requests.
- Support IT security policies and operational procedures.
- Support Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Assist with hardware inventory, asset tracking, and lifecycle management.
- Travel regionally to provide onsite technical support.
- Manage and update tickets in an ITSM platform.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Assist workstation deployment, imaging, and technology refresh projects.
- Perform Active Directory password resets and account maintenance.
- Coordinate escalations with infrastructure, networking, and security teams.
