Job summary

Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is seeking a Field IT Support Technician to serve as a vital link for tech support across statewide operations. You will handle IT asset management, end-user support for Windows, iOS, and Android across field offices, and coordinate with procurement for licenses and hardware.

The role requires traveling to AGFC offices statewide (average 2 days per week) with on-site leadership for imaging and LAN connectivity issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in helpdesk or field technician support.
• Software installation and maintenance experience.
• Exceptional customer service with user satisfaction focus.
• Strong communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lifecycle management of IT assets from acquisition to decommissioning.
• Software license management and vendor coordination.
• Maintain AMDB/CMDB inventory across remote and on-prem teams.
• Procure and negotiate enterprise software/hardware contracts.
• Establish ITAM policies and automated asset tracking workflows.
• Ticketing and documenting system configurations.
