Job summary

Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is seeking a Field IT Support Technician to serve as the IT asset management and on-site support lead across statewide offices. You will ensure end-user devices run smoothly and provide hands-on technical support in the field.

The role requires managing assets, software licenses, and field deployments, with regular travel to AGFC offices and remote sites. Strong customer service and clear communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in helpdesk or field technician support.
Experience with software installation and maintenance.
Excellent customer service and user satisfaction focus.
Strong communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Lifecycle management of IT assets from acquisition to decommissioning.
Software asset management and license compliance.
Maintain inventory in AMDB/CMDB across remote and on-premise teams.
Procurement and vendor relations for enterprise software/hardware.
Governance and compliance with ITAM policies and workflows.
Ticketing and documentation of system configurations.
Reporting on asset utilization and lifecycle costs.
End-user support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Field assistance with on-site leadership and troubleshooting imaging or LAN issues.
