Job summary

TeamSoft seeks an IT Asset Manager / Technical Support professional to support field end-users across Arkansas and manage full lifecycle IT assets. You will ensure reliable equipment, software, and infrastructure align with conservation efforts through hands-on technical work and asset governance.

The role combines hardware/software troubleshooting with asset management, requiring 3+ years in ITAM, ITSM, and end-user support, plus state travel and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• ITAM: 3+ years of experience.
• ITSM/ITAM tool administration: 3+ years.
• Helpdesk/field technician support: 3+ years.
• End-user hardware support: 3+ years.
• Software installation & maintenance: 3+ years.
• IT certifications: CompTIA A+, CSAM, CHAMP, ITIL v4, or similar.
• NinjaOne RMM: hands-on experience desired.
• Freshservice ITSM/ITAM: hands-on experience desired.
• Driver's license and active auto insurance for state vehicle use required.

Responsibilities

• ITAM & Lifecycle Management: Track and manage hardware and software assets from acquisition to decommissioning; maintain AMDB/CMDB accuracy.
• Software Asset Management & Compliance: Enforce software request protocols, monitor license utilization, prevent over-licensing, and manage vendor audit readiness.
• Procurement & Governance: Collaborate with fiscal teams to review renewals, negotiate pricing, and enforce ITAM approval workflows.
• Technical & Field Support: Provide hands-on hardware/software troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices; assist with imaging and LAN connectivity across field offices.
• Ticketing & Reporting: Manage service requests via ticketing portals, maintain documentation, and generate reports on asset costs, risks, and refresh cycles.
• Statewide Travel: Travel to client offices statewide (average 2 days/week) using provided vehicles.
