Job summary

Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to deliver day-to-day technical support for field offices in North Florida. The role involves hardware/software troubleshooting, imaging and deployment, and on-site field work.

The position requires 4 years of IT helpdesk experience or an eligible vocational program, with travel up to 10%. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of professional experience in an IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support role.
• Completion of a one-year program of study from a vocational/technical school in IT can substitute for one year of required experience.
• One year of providing customer service in technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical assistance to end-users and ensure efficient operation of desktop systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues; perform installations, upgrades, and configurations.
• Travel up to 10% of time to field offices for on-site Help Desk support; manage tickets and document solutions.
