Job summary

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection in Jacksonville seeks an IT professional to manage computer systems and IT operations in the District. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software, develop technical analyses, and train users across the office.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of verifiable related experience in distributed processing or computer systems.
• Knowledge of distributed processing operations, software, procedures and equipment.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems with computer systems, hardware, software and telecommunications.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Valid driver license and ability to travel locally.
• Experience with continuous improvement strategies and process review.
