Job summary

Interstates is seeking an IT Craft Support Specialist to provide hands-on and remote IT support for jobsites, regional offices, and project locations. Travel up to 50% is expected, supporting craft workers, site supervisors, and project teams.

You will document best practices and create SOPs, helping standardize support to reduce site visits while ensuring security and compliance. 4+ years of IT support, Windows and M365 proficiency are required.

Qualifications

Hands-on IT support experience in hardware, software, and basic networking.
Experience in field, multi-site, or distributed environments preferred.
Strong written communication to create knowledge articles and SOPs.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on and remote IT support for jobsites, trailers, regional offices, and project locations.
Serve as the primary IT presence in the field for craft workers, site supervisors, and project teams.
Troubleshoot, configure, and replace field devices including laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, iPads, and video units.
Support basic jobsite networking and connectivity, including access points, switches, Starlink or similar equipment, and cabling under direction.
Capture field knowledge and turn it into articles, guides, and SOPs for the broader IT team.
Coordinate with IT Support, Network Support, Systems Administration, Cybersecurity, and field leadership.
