New York Cancer & Blood Specialists in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our service desk and field support team. You will assist clinical and administrative staff, handling hardware and software issues to ensure smooth technology operations across sites.

This onsite role requires strong customer focus, AD knowledge, and the ability to travel between NYCBS locations. You’ll contribute to onboarding/offboarding and to building our internal knowledge base in a mission-driven

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years in IT support, help desk, or service desk.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and basic networking.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support to end users via phone, remote access, and in-person assistance
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues across workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Log, track, and manage support tickets using ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, permissions, and hardware deployment
• Perform imaging, setup, maintenance, and upgrades of end-user devices
• Escalate complex or recurring issues to appropriate IT teams
• Travel between NYCBS sites to provide onsite support for clinical and administrative teams
• Maintain and contribute to internal documentation and knowledge base resources
