Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an IT Support Specialist to maintain and troubleshoot the company’s technology across offices and customer sites. You will handle hardware, software, network, and printer issues, and assist with onboarding.

2+ years of IT support or related technical role.
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
Willingness to travel to customer locations and lift equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide first and second level technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity.
Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
Onboard/offboard technology needs, including equipment deployment and access setup.
Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN, printers, and other office technology issues.
Maintain records of IT assets, locations, warranties, and replacement schedules.
Coordinate hardware repairs and vendor service as needed.
Administer Microsoft 365 and SharePoint user access and licensing.
Serve as on-site contact for MSP support and security services.
