Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Lead Field Office Technician to join our Albuquerque, NM team, delivering on-site IT support for CASTLE-NET and USACE OCIO/G-6 initiatives. You will lead field activities, mentor staff, and ensure technical requirements align with mission goals.

Requires 10+ years of IT/field support experience (or equivalent), DoD 8140 IAT II, and travel up to 75%. This role emphasizes secure, modern IT solutions and customer-focused service in a defense environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 10+ years IT/field support experience or Associate degree with 12+ years experience or 14+ years relevant experience.
Broad knowledge across IT tasks and high-impact assignments.
Strong hardware, software, and network troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency with remote support tools and ticketing systems; willingness to travel extensively for field office support.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator.
Must maintain DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site IT infrastructure and end-user device support at CASTLE-NET field offices.
Demonstrate technical leadership on major tasks and coordinate field activities.
Direct field activities to meet technical requirements and project objectives.
