Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a qualifying field is required.
• Experience in related field may substitute for degree.
• Master's degree can substitute for required experience.

Aufgaben

• Perform case management in Child Welfare Investigations per policy.
• Conduct timely initial investigations of child abuse/neglect and offer services.
• Respond to intakes to assess safety using FAST and develop safety plans.
• Engage families and professionals with empathy; collaborate with law enforcement.
• Complete legal packets when action or EPC occurs.
• Locate absent parents and relatives to support the child and family team.
• Recommend interventions and document on the Family Permanency Plan.
• Maintain case records in CAPSS per policy and GPS model.
• Maintain child welfare certification; complete 20 hours of training yearly.
• Protect PII and safeguard agency networks.
• Perform Red Cross shelter duties or other emergency duties as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
