Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking motivated Field Interviewers for the MEPS study. This part-time role involves traveling to households, completing in-person interviews, and transmitting data daily. Training in January 2027 is mandatory, with rounds running across two collection periods each year.

Responsibilities include data entry, paperwork submission, and adherence to confidentiality. Candidates should be prepared for evening/weekend hours and occasional overnight travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Must complete mandatory web-based home study training and Teams sessions between Jan 4–15, 2027.
• Must travel to in-person training (Jan 19–25, 2027) and post-training activities.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Field Interviewer for MEPS, collecting data and submitting paperwork.
• Transmit data daily on work days and follow data security requirements.
• Report to a field supervisor and manage travel to households, including overnight travel when needed.
• Participate in mandatory training sessions and complete required screenings.
