Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers in Omaha, NE, to support the MEPS study on health care costs and usage. FIs will perform in-person and video interviews, set appointments, and collect signed documents using a Westat laptop.

Travel to training is mandatory, with rounds across the year and potential overnight trips. The role runs annually as a part-time, non-exempt position with data submission and strict adherence to confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory training between January 4 and January 15, 2027.
• Attend in-person training January 19–25, 2027, including travel.
• Available to work January 2027 to December 2030 with 20 hours/week when needed.

Responsabilités

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households.
• Schedule, contact and gain cooperation for interviews and collect paperwork.
• Transmit data daily and comply with security and confidentiality requirements.
