Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers for the MEPS study, a government-sponsored panel survey on health care costs and usage. The role requires in-person fieldwork, travel to training and households, and data collection across multiple rounds over two calendar years.

Positions are part-time with flexible hours, primarily evenings and weekends. Training starts in January 2027, with ongoing web-based and in-person sessions.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based home study training between January 4 and January 15, 2027.
• Travel to mandatory in-person training (January 19–25, 2027).
• Be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, evenings and weekends.
• Meet physical requirements: lift 20 pounds, walk blocks, climb stairs with gear.
• Have a fully insured vehicle and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Transmit electronic data daily on workdays.
• Complete administrative paperwork and report to field supervisor.
