Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers in Salt Lake City to support MEPS, a study of health care costs and usage in the United States. FIs conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults, arrange appointments, and collect documents.

This is a part-time, non-exempt role with two yearly data collection periods and travel requirements. Mandatory training begins January 2027, with both online and in-person sessions; most weeks offer around 20 hours when work is available.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Mandatory web-based and in-person training between January 4 and January 31, 2027.
• Willingness to travel to local and occasional long-distance households.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults.
• Schedule and complete interviews, and collect signed documents.
• Travel to assigned households and transit between training and interview sites.
