Job summary

Westat is seeking Field Interviewers to support the MEPS study, conducting in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households across the United States. The role involves travel to training in January 2027, ongoing data collection across rounds, and daily data transmission.

This part-time, variable-hour position runs yearly with two data collection periods and includes an hourly pay range of $19.23–$22.94.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Be available to complete mandatory web-based home study training between Jan 4–15, 2027.
• Be available to travel to in-person training Jan 19–25, 2027.
• Complete post-training home study Jan 26–31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households.
• Contact households, set appointments, and collect required interview data.
• Transmit data daily and complete administrative paperwork as required.
