NextLink is seeking a Field Installation Technician to join our on-site team in Texas. You will perform customer installations, service visits, and on-site troubleshooting while updating databases.

The role emphasizes delivering reliable service, professional interaction with customers, and safe handling of network equipment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be able to climb, lift equipment, and pass drug and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be professional in dress, speech, and manner.
• Ability to work independently, using sound judgement principles.
• Must demonstrate a desire to learn, supported with a love for technology.
• Must pass a drug screening test and a criminal background check.
• Must be able to use tools to install equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys for potential customers to evaluate serviceability.
• Diagnose customer problems at service calls and restore functional service to existing customers.
• Install new customers with Internet service based on technology available.
• Perform other duties as assigned
